In all honesty, I didn't really know what to put in on this very first entry. I got really inspired by my blogger friends' blogsites so I've decided to build a site of my own about my recent hobby - Running.
I have so many ideas that I want to share but I figure I have to construct them in a way that most of (you) my soon-to-be readers could understand. So I guess, I would have to start by introducing myself. And here it goes...
Most of my friends call me 'Paula' my second name is 'Vanikka', and I'm working at an IT department of a financial institution in Manila. I spend most of my non-working hours sleeping (lol), eating, and if the weather is good, I run. I run outdoors and I guess even if the weather is bad I still run (lol)- but on the thread-mill instead. During weekends I play my favorite sports - lawn tennis.
You see, maybe I'm missing something here. Let me try to explain further, I began to appreciate Running (especially joining organized runs/ marathons) when I've had the conviction to lose weight and running did help me a lot in terms of achieving my weight goals. Because about 8 months ago I weighed 170 lbs, and currently I'm 137 lbs, this is something I'm really proud of because I've done it through an all-natural method, with no shortcuts, no diet pills and no technological interventions.
But even though I've already lost 33 lbs I'm still 17 lbs short from my ideal weight which means that it doesn't end here. And even if I've reached my ideal weight and body form, I don't think I'll ever gonna stop! This activity is so addicting that it already became a part of my system and I can no longer live without it.
This blog would be about sharing this new passion, my inspiration and lessons learned along the process. I hope that I'll spark even just a hint of enthusiasm in you and provide you with more than enough information in order for all of us to enjoy this activity together!
